Pessimist, Optimist or Realist?

My friend HAngel sent this to me the other day and I just knew I had to share it.  In fact, she confided in me that she received this message in 2 different ways in the same day and knew it was a sign…and then passed it along to me!  I love when others LINK as well!

This great quote truly brings home the idea of how you live your life.  Before reading it, I would have said I was an optimist without a doubt because I always see the glass 1/2 full, I expect happiness when I wake up and I enjoy seeing the goodness in others and in my life.  However, in this setting, I am more a realist I think…certainly not a pessimist, but the optimist, as revealed in this quote, makes me want to be a realist…to adjust my sails and sail on and not be at the mercy of the winds but to instead take control of my destiny and sail on and soar!

I mentioned that my birthday wishes and goals are being made…and I think this is one of the changes I am making in my life.  I will continue with my optimistic attitude, but I am going to adjust my sails and DO what I want to do and what I feel is beneficial in my life.

I am the Admiral of my own Life…perhaps it’s time to start to chart my next year’s voyage!
