All You Need Is Love

There’s a popular song by the Beatles called, “All You Need Is Love” which you may remember. When I awoke this morning, I heard that song in my head and chose to share it today since Valentine’s Day is nearly upon us.

Life sure feels strange lately with all the upheaval. There’s so much fear and uncertainty. Politically people are at odds and then there’s the Covid-19 virus which has many worried as well. I try not to watch the news since much of it has negativity to it. I like to stay informed, but I also don’t want to get caught up in the whirlwind.

As light workers shining our heartlights, we continually need to feed ourselves positivity. Not in a Pollyanna sort of way, but in choosing to stay centered, and with kindness, love and caring for all people. Love holds the key to unlocking so many of our troubles these days. Perhaps that’s why the song resonated with me this morning.

Love is all you need is a great reminder to what’s important in this world. Giving and receiving love heals us all. Love makes the world go round, don’t you think?

I recently heard The Beatles’ song, All You Need Is Love, again and I couldn’t help but amazed by the lyrics.  Of course, I knew the song by heart, but in actually LISTENING to the words, my understanding deepened so I thought I’d share with you since Valentine’s Day is around the corner.

Sunshine…

I find it so fascinating that those who radiate sunshine in their lives, bring so much joy to themselves and to others simply by being themselves.  I am so grateful that I was able to lunch with my longtime friend BAngel who was in town for a few days.  As we chatted throughout our 3 hour lunch, I was constantly reminded of her sunshine (hence the post) which radiates from her at all times.  It is completely without her knowing what a blessing she is to all whom she comes into contact with at any moment of any day.  It is so much fun to watch others light up when she meets them ~ and it is delightful to see that she has no idea of the powerful light which emanates from her ~ human sunshine as it were.

I strive for that inner beauty as well…I aspire to be that beacon of hope, that ray of sunshine in the lives of others.  I want to make this world a better place by inspiring others to smile, to hope, to persevere, to take baby steps, to connect with each other and to enjoy the Presents of Presence.

 May the Sunshine warm your day today ~ and the moonlight light your path at night.
