Heartlight Sky

I happened to look up. I wasn’t searching for a sign, but isn’t that just God-like and just like the Universe to let me know that feeling heart-centered is perfectly right in this present moment? I have always been a skywatcher. I love nature and sip my coffee outside often in the mornings to commune with Mother Nature. The wildlife here don’t disappoint with their silly antics, nor the birds with their visits and beautiful songs.

Cloud watching is an art form and I remember being a child and looking up at the clouds and letting my imagination take over. I could conjure up visions of clouds in the shapes of mountains, smiley faces and even dragons at times. But my delight in seeing a cloud in the sky, shaped like a heart was contagious!

It happened last evening and if you look closely, you can see the stars in the sky twinkling. The flash on the iPhone camera is why the photo seems as if it’s daylight, but it’s not. I was talking with a friend when suddenly I looked up and there the heart was right in front of me! I quickly took the photo and within minutes the heart cloud had faded away. Was it a sign from Heaven?

Being present is so important, don’t you think? Big grin. You know I believe in The Presents of Presence! For if I had waited even a few minutes, the heart-shaped cloud would have been gone and I would have missed my opportunity to remember that moment of the awe-inspiring beauty that nature delivers! Indeed, I wouldn’t have been able to share it with you today!

Capturing that moment still makes my own heart sing with delight! Because even the sky shares its heartlight with us when we take a moment to be fully present!

Shine On!

PS What else do you see in the photo? What do you think the cloud shape is to the left of the heart?

Rabbit Rabbit November 1st

Rabbit-rabbit-white-rabbit-white-rabbit!

Good morning dear friends! For those of you who know me, you know the first of the month is the signal for saying those special words in order to ensure good luck all month long! Have you said it yet?

It’s also All Saints Day on the Catholic calendar which coincides with the birthday of a dearly departed family member. It’s been many years since he passed away, but I feel his presence in my life often. As I said in yesterday’s post, I do believe in signs from the other side and have experienced many synchronicities and coincidences that are not able to be explained which reminds me that while loved ones may pass away, their essence, their presence, and their legacy remain in our hearts.

It is another reminder to me that we never know what the future brings and so I gently, but firmly, remind you to forgive, to love, to care and to shine your heartlights with much love into the world. We need more caring and kindness here and I know you are all blessed with an abundance of those very necessary traits! I am so grateful for all of you!

Shine On!

A Visit From Someone Who Has Passed?

avisitfromsomeonewhohaspassed

Two years ago, my Aunt AAngel passed away.  She was very special to us and was a part of our family’s life for more than 60 years.  AAngel wasn’t a biological aunt, but instead, a part of our family by love.  I am not sure if anyone remembers that she passed away two years ago, but her loved ones who have memory issues, were talking about her suddenly and I found it interesting.

I have a theory that our loved ones who have passed, visit us.  Has this ever happened to you?  With memory issues, my aunt who was most impacted by her passing, forgets that AAngel has passed away and believes instead, she is visiting her own family.  But the other night, suddenly my aunt wanted to talk on the phone with me to tell me how she had been talking with AAngel.  What I found as a precious coincidence is that the very same day marked the two year anniversary of her passing.

When a loved one passes, I think they often check in on those of us who are here on Earth, still in human form.  They hover around, comforting us when we are grieving if we would only open our hearts and minds to see the signs.  We’ve all heard of feathers, pennies from Heaven, songs being played on the radio, etc. as signs that our angels are nearby.  Has this ever happened to you?  I know I’ve been visited in dreams by loved ones who have passed away and I always take it as a confirmation that they are sending a little bit of love and connecting with me.  I don’t think love ever really dies, it simply changes form.  It may get harder to see those whom we loved who have passed, but their loving essence only fades in human form.  The loving bond we share, remains eternal.

For what’s the legacy we leave behind after we’ve passed except for the remembrance in the hearts of those still here on Earth?  Sure, we can leave material goods and be remembered, but to be remembered in the hearts and minds of those who truly loved us, is a precious legacy.

So today, let’s take a moment to remember those precious souls who have passed and left a precious legacy in our hearts.  Feel the gratitude in knowing them.  Then, as we go about our day, let’s keep that reminder and do for others so that one day, we may be remembered in a special way.

Have you ever been visited by a loved one who has passed away?  What signs have you received?  Please share!

Shine On!

What’s It All About, Alfie?

whatsitallaboutalfie

A little tribute to Alfie because I’ve been feeling your presence lately, Daddy.  Thanks for the reminders that you are here.

Shine On!

“Alfie”
What’s it all about, Alfie?
Is it just, for the moment we live?
What’s it all about Alfie?
When you sort it out, Alfie
Are we meant to take more than we give?
Or are we meant to be kind?
And if only fools are kind, Alfie
Then I guess it is wise to be cruel
And if life belongs only to the strong, Alfie
What will you lend on an old golden rule?
As sure as I believe there’s a heaven above Alfie,
I know there’s something much more
Something even non-believers,
they can believe in
I believe in love, Alfie
Without true love we just exist, Alfie
Until you find the love you’ve missed
You’re nothing,
Alfie
When you walk, let your heart lead the way
And you’ll find love any day, Alfie
Alfie.
