How To Find Your Way Home – Prayer Request

iflightisinyourheart

If light is in your heart,

you will find your way home.

~ Rumi

My heart is filled with light as I release our family home with gratitude for the happiness and blessings it gave us for many years.  I humbly ask that if you feel led, that you please send prayers for a new home in which my children and I can rest our weary souls, shine our heartlights and be happy.  I know we will find our new place with our faith of Divine timing, but a few extra prayers from you would surely help our situation.

Thank you for reading and for thinking of us.  As always, I appreciate our connections.

Shine On!

Love Is… 1 Corinthians 13:1-8

love

“If I could speak all the languages of earth and of angels, but didn’t love others, I would only be a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal.  If I had the gift of prophecy, and if I understood all of God’s secret plans and possessed all knowledge, and if I had such faith that I could move mountains, but didn’t love others, I would be nothing.  If I gave everything I have to the poor and even sacrificed my body, I could boast about it; but if I didn’t love others, I would have gained nothing.

“Love is patient and kind.  Love is not jealous or boastful or proud or rude.  It does not demand its own way.  It is not irritable, and it keeps no record of being wronged.  It does not rejoice about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out.  Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance.

“Prophecy and speaking in unknown languages and special knowledge will become useless.  But love will last forever!”

~ 1 Corinthians 13:1-8

I thought this was a lovely reminder on a blessed Sunday.  May love and healing light fill your hearts, minds, souls and bodies each and every day.  May you continue to shine your heartlights and be grateful for the love surrounding us all in each and every moment!

Shine On!

Another Lesson From The Little Prince

feltwiththeheart

“The most beautiful things

in the world cannot be

seen or touched,

they are felt with the heart.”

~ Antoine de Saint-Exupéry

You may have heard this quote before and not known that it was part of The Little Prince.  It has become one of those inspirational messages that we use when we speak of love.

For what is love?

Is it the entwining of souls through respect, admiration, taming and fidelity?  Or is it the soul to soul connection we receive when we love with our whole hearts?  Is it the bond of family that just is because we are family?  Is it a mother’s innate bonding with her child that is born from her body or for the child who is chosen through her heart?  Or is it the friendships that we forge throughout our lifetimes through similar experiences?  Is it the caring for or from a stranger in crisis?  Or is it God’s love for all of his children who are perfect, whole and complete just as they are?  Is it the heart’s understanding of the preciousness of this moment in time with another person or animal or nature?  Or is it just the complete feeling of bliss when we are grateful for the presents of presence?

What is love to you?  Please share!

Shine On!

Radiate and Shine On!

shineon

I always end my posts with Shine On!  I don’t know why, but it began awhile back.  For some reason, the phrase Shine On brings me a plethora of emotion.  It’s like a farewell, till we connect again, and a gentle reminder to continue radiating love and light into the world.  Keep shining your special, unique self and sparkle so the world is brighter because of you.  Shine your heartlight brightly dear friends!  Our souls connect in the light of hope, love and prosperity.  Darkness cannot survive in the light.

Kindness, caring, compassion and understanding are key.  When we are patient with ourselves and with all of those around us, our heartlights beat at a higher vibration, thus radiating more sparkling light – we, in fact, shine on ourselves and our beautiful world bringing more peace and healing.

I am ever grateful for the loving, healing connections I’ve made through blogging and I am ever grateful and appreciative of each and every one of you.  Your heartlights brighten my world.  Our connections help to heal and to spread love.

Our world needs more light, love and healing.  Please take a moment today to…

Shine On!

Before You Can “Let Go and Let God”

beforeyoucan

“Before you can, ‘Let Go and Let God,’

you have to let Him in!”

Such simple advice for a Sunday, don’t you think?  Traditionally Sunday is a day of rest from the week’s work and a day designed to relax, to enjoy and to be aware that life is good.  It is a day for family, for enjoyment and for pleasure.

Take some time today to pray, to meditate, and to enjoy stillness with gratitude.  If you can, walk outside to experience the gifts Mother Nature brings every single day.  Look up to the sky, notice the clouds, the stars, the sun and the moon.  If it’s raining, feel the raindrops and the gratitude for the water which feeds all life.  Be grateful for the blessings in your life, even the tiniest ones like waking up this morning!  When we begin to notice even the littlest blessings, more blessings come to us because we are concentrating on that which we have and not what we feel we lack.

Letting go and letting God is scary for many of us have that sense of wanting to be in control and believing we can make things happen simply by actions or wishing or even saying affirmations and imagining what we want to come to us.  By all means, use whatever you find comfort in, but don’t forget about God.  Pray for what is yours by Divine Right.  What is yours, comes to you with perfect timing.  We can’t rush what is to be.  We can only allow what we have now to flourish, to do our best in all that we do and trust that the Universe and God will provide.  Just like the birds who find food even in the scarcest of winters, God provides for us.  We just have to let Him in and allow Him to help us by trusting Him.

Don’t lose faith when what you wish for doesn’t come to fruition.  It’s not meant to be.  As they say, you can’t push the river, but you can go with the flow.  Continue with your actions, but be mindful and watch for signs from Above.  Ask if you are on the right path and know when there’s a detour, it’s probably meant to be.

I write for you and for myself as reminders.  I am guilty of trying to push the river, to plan ahead and to take action for what I want and sometimes it all backfires.  Then I begin again because I feel as if I need to be in control.  But it’s laughable at times since control is an illusion.

When we let God in, we allow miraculous healing to occur.  We allow blessings to expand and we allow gifts to be experienced.  We are each blessed.  Be thankful.

Shine On!

Remember to Say Thank You

thankyou

Life flows when we give and when we accept the blessings given to us.  Expressing gratitude is not difficult, but certainly is necessary.  Being appreciative for the blessings bestowed on us, little or big, requires being in a place of gratitude.  For when we ‘count our blessings’ we invite more blessings because we are showing appreciation.

Lately, I’ve been expressing my gratitude to God and to the Universe for the blessings which have been given to me.  It seems that the more I thank God and the Universe for even the simplest of gifts, the more blessings flow to me.  It’s that Law of Attraction mentality I think.  Have you heard of Law of Attraction?  I’ve written many posts on it before in my blog.  Just search Law of Attraction and surely you’ll find more about it here.

I think in our busy lives we forget to be grateful for the simplest things which we take for granted.  We become disconnected with the gifts we receive in our daily life.  Just having shelter, food, health, love and income, bare minimums is a blessing that we forget to acknowledge for there are many who lack these minimums.  Instead I think sometimes we are focused on what we don’t have or what we want, instead of what we currently have.  It’s a different way of thinking for some, but it’s a choice in how you look at it.

Is that glass half full or half empty for you?

Or are you just grateful to have the glass that can be refilled?

That’s how life is – you choose how you look at things and you can choose again when you learn more about life.  That’s the great part of life lessons!  We learn and grow at different speeds, but as we connect, we learn more because we share our lessons with those who are interested in connecting.

I have learned so much from blogging friendships that we’ve made and from friends who have taken the time to share what they have learned from life lessons.  My heartfelt thanks to all of you!  I hope that in some way, I have helped you as well.

Shine On!

Happy St. Patrick’s Day!

HappyStPatricksDay

May God give you…
For every storm, a rainbow,
For every tear, a smile,
For every care, a promise,
And a blessing in each trial.
For every problem life sends,
A faithful friend to share,
For every sigh, a sweet song,
And an answer for each prayer.

Dearest Friends,

I loved this Irish blessing and prayer and I share it with you today.  Be present in whatever is happening in your life and never lose faith in all that you can do with the help of friends, family and God.

Shine On!
