Homesick For The Light

homesickforthelight.PNG

There are times when the low vibrational energies drain us.  I’m still hearing from friends who are talking about this energetic shift that is progressing so slowly that at times we feel as if we are in a stagnant pool of waiting.  It’s as if all is flowing in slow motion to the point of actually not seeing any movement, even though we know there is progress.  Does that make sense to you?

The phrase Homesick For The Light popped into my head this morning so I’m just going to flow with it.  To me, the phrase means that we are longing to be surrounded by kindness, tranquility, and being bathed in heartlight for a little while.  To me, that’s home.  This seesaw energy and spiritual chaos exhausts many of us.  As our eyes have been opened, it is hard to watch others who manipulate, deceive (themselves and others) and prefer disconnection to unity.

I think what frustrates many of us is that we know there is another way – unity, compassion, love, kindness, peace, connections.  We have seen and felt the light shine from our own heartlights and been united with similarly thinking souls.  We know how great it feels.  So when we find people in our lives who have turned towards the shadows, we long to help, but we are thwarted for different reasons.

May you find your light in the everyday moments.  May you shine your heartlights brilliantly.  May you light another’s light when theirs dims.  May you find comfort in connections.  May you find peace within and spread your peaceful countenance to all.

Shine On!

March Madness

No my dear friends, I’m not talking about basketball, but instead about the energies that we find here lately. Yesterday was a very windy day and it has continued today. A polar vortex in our area has arrived even though just last week we had mild spring-like temperatures. However, as you well know, March can be a tricky month weather-wise. My Mom was famous for saying, “March comes in like a lion and out like a lamb.” Have you heard that saying too?

I’m noticing a lot of people are on edge as well these days. The unrest world-wide with all that’s swirling doesn’t make it easy to navigate as there’s a lot to take in, a lot to process and many people are just plain tired. I hope that you’ve all been doing well. I haven’t been writing here lately and I miss you.

Daffodils always remind me of my Mom as she had them in the middle of the kitchen table (from her garden) during my birthday month. Those bright happy flowers never cease to make me smile when I think of her. Do you have any flowers that remind you of someone special?

Surviving Tilt-A-World

survivingtiltaworld

Have you been feeling it still?  That sense that everything is coming to peace by being cleared out?  For me, I feel like I’m riding turbulent waves with only a small life ring to keep me from drowning.  I have been talking with others who are feeling it as well.  Are you too?

It’s been going on for awhile now.  I wrote about it here at the end of August.  Some of what we’re experiencing with no rhyme or reason as to why are:

Turbulence in relationships

Malfunctioning/breaking of all types of items (locks included)

Miscommunications

Unexplained health problems

Insomnia

Exhaustion of body, mind and soul

Lack of feeling centered

Losses

Bad behaviors

Atmospheric/Climate abnormalities

Appliances, Computers, Electricity problems

Etc., Etc., Etc.

It’s a time for clearing out the old muck to begin again in a new way.  It’s a rearranging and re-balancing of the old stuck ways of thinking and being which causes this upheaval.  Whatever we haven’t dealt with in the past is now center-staging itself in plain sight in order to be dealt with once and for all, even if it’s not what we want to do at this time.

It’s been difficult for most of us.  It’s a matter of staying on course and allowing the flow of energy to take us where we need to heal.  Navigating the hills and valleys as we clear and heal isn’t for the faint of heart.  Staying centered and balanced feels like an arduous task, but we just have to keep on trying to recenter after each crisis.  Staying authentically true to ourselves, opening up those raw wounds to heal them and to forgive takes great effort.  Sleep is kindness to ourselves as it restores our depleting energies as we traverse this difficult time.

We can’t charge through this time quickly.  We can only take baby steps as each clearing comes which means that there’s no way to make it go any faster.  Hold on.  Go with the flow.  Be patient with yourself and others.  Don’t try to force things to work, but instead surrender to the healing.  I truly believe all will re-balance itself, maybe not in the short time we want it to, but yes, in time.  All in good time.

Hold on dear friends.  Breathe in.  Breathe out.  Rest.  Meditate.  Surrender and Grow.  Balance the yin and yang as best you can.  Hold onto trusted friends.  Count your blessings.  We are here for you!  Keep shining your heartlights!  We need more light!

Shine On!

Are You Experiencing Energetic Madness?

areyouexperiencingenergeticmadness

Lately with the full moon, the planetary alignments, the climatic changes and atmospheric push/pulls, it seems as if the world is on tilt.  Do you remember playing pinball machines when TILT came on?  Well, that’s how some highly sensitive souls are feeling right now.  Are you one of them too?

It seems very chaotic lately in personal relationships as well as financial and business.  What I’m finding is machinery isn’t working or is very wonky which is frustrating.  There are long wait times and phone calls are being dropped for no apparent reason.  Not to mention people seem to be angrier than usual with their frustration levels peaking over little inconveniences that normally would only elicit a quiet sigh.  Has the world gone on full tilt?

So much agony, frustration and abnormal behavior seem to be clogging up the healthy flow in our world.  Patience, kindness and compassion seem to be misplaced for the moment.

So what can we do?

Support one another.  Be the kindness and compassion as we wait patiently (or maybe impatiently) for the return to calm.  Don’t allow the energetic chaos to deter you from staying centered in peace and healthy love.  Take good care of yourselves as we navigate these stormy seas.  Pray, meditate and balance yourself.  Shine your heartlights as beacons of hope for those who are feeling lost and abandoned.  Be grateful for the little things, even when the big things seem to be in upheaval.

It’s just a phase of change which will return to balance soon.  Keep treading water as we navigate these stormy energetic seas.  Go with the flow – for what you resist persists.  Perhaps it is a time of global learning and with time, we will reunite and reassemble how we are meant to be with peace, love, compassion and kindness leading the way.  At least that’s my hope.

Is it just me or are you feeling similarly?

Cats And Unseen Energy

catsandunseenenergy

My cats have been acting strangely this morning.  It happens every once in awhile, but since I recently wrote about energy, I thought perhaps someone could give me a little insight.  Please?

This morning, our older cat was quietly sitting on the couch when suddenly, without warning, she jumped up as if she had been startled by something and then raced off the couch, skid across the floor and out of the room at full speed.  It was as it someone had poked her while she was quietly relaxing and then chased her.  But there was nobody near her.

I was stunned by her reaction.  At first, I thought it was that she realized she had to go to the bathroom right now.  Sometimes that urge happens to all of us.  So I followed her, but she ran straight into my bedroom and hid herself under the bed.

I didn’t see anything. I sat on my bed for a few minutes, trying to gauge if there were something more, something unseen that perhaps she saw or felt and I did not.  But I wasn’t aware of anything.  After a few minutes, she came out from underneath the bed and I carried her baby style in my arms, back into the family room so I could finish my coffee.

Back on the couch, she nestled next to me.  She wouldn’t close her eyes to cat nap as she usually does.  She stayed alert.  Every once in awhile, her ears perked up, but I heard only silence.  I looked around the room, but saw nothing amiss.

Our other kitty who is younger was already sleeping somewhere else.  However, about an hour later, she moseyed into the family room.  Suddenly she started batting at something unseen.  It was as if someone was playing with her.  She ran around in circles, jumping up occasionally and then raced out of the room.  Two minutes later, she ran back into the room to repeat the playing and raced out again.  It was such a peculiar sight.  As I watched her, I wondered if there was someone or something unseen by me in the room.  The older cat watched expectantly from her perch next to me, but she didn’t move.

I’d like to think that whatever caused the girls (as I call the cats) to act so strangely was a kind energy, acting playfully with them.  Because afterwards they both settled down as if nothing had happened.

Do any pet owners out there have any similar experiences?  The unexplained noises have been happening again that I’ve written about here.  I thought it was the change of seasons with the heating system, but now I’m not so sure.  Truly, the girls acted as if they were interacting with something that I couldn’t see.  Has this ever happened in your home?

Another Reason To Be Positive And Do Good Things

anotherreasontobepositiveanddogoodthings

Recently, I started following a blog that isn’t in my normal reading blogosphere.  In fact, it’s literally out of this dimension (pun intended).  But the post I read yesterday resonated with me because I’m all about positivity, good energy and being present.

I don’t know if you believe in ghosts or in the paranormal or in spirits and hauntings.  While I’ve had a few experiences that could be categorized as paranormal activity, I find it really interesting when someone writes in the way that Marcus does in his blog.

The serendipitous part is that I know him in real life (even though it’s only recently that I knew of his gift) and I find speaking with him fascinating as he likes to share what he knows and answer questions about the experiences he’s had in his life.

So, may I introduce you to Marcus and Alcaide’s Paranormal Truth.  Please click here to read what he says about energy  because this was the reason I wanted to post about him today.

Stay positive!  Shine your heartlights!  If you’ve had any paranormal experiences and you would like to share them, I’d love to read about them, so please feel free to comment below!  I hope you have a lovely Sunday dear friends!

You Gotta Live and Let Live

liveandletlive

My Granddaddy owned a general store in a small town in South Carolina.  Because people sometimes didn’t have the money for the necessities that they needed to buy in his store, he would often trade with them instead of using currency.  He would come home with chickens or eggs, once even a goat, from the farmers who needed to buy flour etc.  The story goes that he never let anyone leave without what they needed even when they lacked money.

“You gotta live and let live,” was his motto even back then.  He has long since passed, but the refrain still sticks in my head.  I was talking with one of my cousins today and we were reminiscing about our family and the memories that we shared were priceless.  When I told him the motto above, he chuckled and said it was one of his favorite sayings from AA and he never knew why.  It was simply one that stuck in his brain.

~ Live and Let Live ~

What a lovely way to look at life, don’t you think?  Allow others to be who they are, don’t judge and just look after your own self.  Do what’s right.  Be a good person.  Be yourself.  Be kind and loving towards everyone.  Just remember you can only change yourself and you need to accept everyone else as who they are.  Be a blessing in someone else’s life.  Allow your hardships to help others and not to harden your heart.  Look up and embrace life.  Be joyful that you are here to hold someone else’s hand.  When it’s your turn to need help, embrace the kindness given to you.  Pay it forward.  Don’t hoard your lessons, but share the experiences.  We are all battling something ~ patience and understanding go far when we connect with others on our life journey.  It helps to share when you connect with understanding and embrace others in a kind, loving way.  Be grateful that you can help someone else, even in a small way.  That’s what we are all here for on this life’s journey.

Hold my hand…let’s share!

We Are All the Same, Yet Different

WeareallthesameyetdifferentWe are all the same, yet different.

It amazes me how people can disconnect and forget that we are all humans.  It frightens me to listen to the news sometimes when I hear how some people treat others, wounding and killing without seeming to care.  We are all connected as energy, as souls, as humans.  Our planet is the only one we’ve got.  We all need oxygen to live and we all need food and water to survive.

We are in this together, here in the same boat, on the same planet, breathing the same air and drinking the same waters and yet there are those who forget.  Yes, we are different.  Each and every one of us is like the flower above ~ all flowers, but all seemingly different in how we look, think, act and perceive life.  Our experiences are different.  Our families, our work, our goals may be different.  Our strife may be different.  But the commonality of humankind is apparent.

So how do we make this planet better?  By seeing the world through loving eyes, ears, hearts and souls.  We are not just humans with souls, we are souls with bodies.  We are born with a life energy that has an expiration date which we do not know so we must live each and every day to its fullest.  When we shine our heartlights, we raise the energy and vibrations in this world.  We make the world a better place and in turn, we make it better for ourselves.

Perhaps, ‘love thy neighbor as thyself’ is hard when you don’t love yourself or harder still, when the neighbor is a pain in the neck.  I get it.  Dealing with others can be challenging at times.  But to forgive, to do our best and to observe with understanding makes the commandment easier.

So look around at the millions of flowers in our world.  Bless each one in the garden of life.  Know that each is doing its best to grow, to flourish, to blossom and to bring beauty to the world.  As each one begins its withering journey, find compassion in your heart to make the journey as beautiful as you can for everyone around you is doing their best.

When You Feel Alone

friendship

At times, there are fleeting connections which remind us of our place in a soul family.  Sometimes there are life long relationships.  Either way, when we connect with our heartlights, the soul family connection emerges and our souls are forever touched by the warm embrace of FAMILY.

When we feel alone, we disconnect.  It’s a natural reaction to fear.  We may turn inward, walling off any connections with ourselves and others in what we deem self-defense.  It is a choice to close ourselves off from connecting with ourselves and others.  Embraced in our own self, we retreat, we stumble and we are lost.   We sever ties and connections through fear.  We disengage from life’s precious gifts.  We grasp onto our fears and uncertainties with drowning panic, reaching out for a life preserver ring and ride life’s hurricane, barely hanging on.  We fill our mind, body and soul with the toxic mix.  We do not understand how with the release of the fears and with making connections to our own soul and our soul family we may heal.  We turn a blind heart to the sun and expect and therefore manifest a storm of epic proportions.

Our soul’s loving energy knows how to instinctively heal us.  But when we disconnect, we drown out the precious gift of healing.  It is during the eye of the storm that we are most disconnected and yet it is the most open time to reconnect ~ for the floodgates are opened and we are vulnerable to what we choose.

When all around you is in chaos, when your world feels as if it is crumbling, when you feel as if you are truly alone in this world, your precious heartlight albeit dimmed, still glows.  Sinking into the black sea of negativity and hurt is a choice.

Finding and igniting your heartlight is your destiny.

Perhaps I’m writing gibberish to you today.  After all, in rereading what I’ve written, I realize that this may have been channeled.  It happens sometimes and when I allow my fingers freedom, it seems my post helps others.

Take my hand.  I am here for you.  Connecting together a dimmed heartlight gains energy, heals wounds and glows brightly for all to see.  Walk with me on this path of life, allow our twin flames to embrace and…

Shine On!
