Did You See The Solar Eclipse Today?

A Ring of Fire Solar Eclipse happened today. Did you witness it? There are tons of photos all over the internet from people who captured this beautiful moment. The Solar Eclipse happened because the moon passed between the Sun and the Earth. Please let me know if you’re one of them as I’d love to hear about your experience! Unfortunately, due to cloud cover, I was unable to see it myself.

The Spiritual Meaning of today’s eclipse following the May 26th Lunar Eclipse has an emphasis on renewal, moving forward and starting fresh which, for many of us, is welcomed especially after all we went through in 2020. In other words, this annular Solar Eclipse could spark an awakening in all of us.

I find it fascinating that over the last few weeks I have been hearing from people in my life with whom I lost touch. In fact, there are those who often check in to my blog, even though we no longer speak, and I often wonder why – Curiosity? Sleuthing? Missing our friendship? I may never know the truth, but I want them to know that I am doing well and yes, I have known all along of their presence here.

I believe an awakening and the subsequent uncovering of truths is perfectly timed. As with an awakening comes the revelation of truths hidden for a long time. One can no longer hide behind falsehoods, nor versions of the truth. Empowerment increases when one chooses peace of mind and forgiveness.

Living in the present moment, loving what is and being grateful for the myriad of blessings we have is the key to happiness. Simple pleasures add up to an incredible life. When one sees beyond the static of superficiality, it is God’s grace that grows. Peace within allows us to sleep well. Holding sacred our loving relationships in this world is of utmost importance. Loving people, not things is a life lesson that awakens our ability to find peace during strife. Gratitude is a key component in finding inner peace. Unconditional love and acceptance grow in an awakened state. When we look back on these life lessons we will find that when we choose to live and let live, we grow our inner peace and radiate our heartlights at a higher frequency. We bond with others who are like-minded as the past drifts into nothingness.

Gratitude for the present moment and the blessings, big and small, which accompany it raises our life force and frequency levels. The hushed tones of the past no longer register in higher frequencies. We have moved forward in our journey with a continued loving heartlight and we now help others to shine again as well. That is our life purpose. We do not suffer in order t remain in a locked pattern of dismay. Rather, we choose to take these life lessons and help others along the way. We journey together and we are all connected. It is my understanding that there are those of us who are delivered hard lessons and are given the choices and resources to overcome such hardships in order to light the way for those who are in similar situations. When we remain open to help, angels appear to help us so that in turn we can help the next person. It is that ring of helping others along the ladder of life that grows exponentially when we choose to help and not hinder each person’s journey.

I am sending you all healing hugs today and always as we continue to shine our heartlights to help others to find their way. I am grateful to all of you who read my blog and I wish all of you joy and peace wherever you are on your life’s journey. Life is short my friends. Live with a renewal of love in your hearts and gratitude for The Presents of Presence daily.

Shine On!

Full Moon In Scorpio

There are many issues that come to the surface with this Super Moon in Scorpio. Have you been feeling them? What used to work for us, the old ways and reactions, no longer seem to work anymore. A huge part of the healing process that we are working on has to do with forgiveness as well as the need to remain as non-judgmental as possible. For some this is easier than for others. But it is a very necessary part of the healing process.

Because we are all powerful manifestors and creators, we must let go of illusions and recognize how empowered we are! What does that mean for you? It means quieting the mind and allowing limiting beliefs to fall away. It is allowing feelings that may have been suppressed in the past to come to the surface to be cleared away once and for all. It is to see with more of an observational knowing that we are all here just doing our best with what we know.

May those who have fallen away from your life be released with gratitude for what we have learned through the life lessons shared with them. Every relationship serves its purpose to allow us to grow, to strengthen and to move beyond the limits that we were given. There are no mistakes. There are no regrets. There is just what happened and how we all moved on to heal from that time.

We are all empowered with healing energy, with a knowing of the truth once we allow ourselves to feel the emotions that we may have been suppressing and to release the past as we ready for the future light that is here now. It is the movement from 3D to 5D that we’re experiencing in case you’re wondering what is going on. We’ve been on this path for awhile now as it unfolds.

I hope you were able to see the full moon last night. I went out to take the photo above and then noticed the herd in the field. Below is the shot of them and as you can tell, that full moon lit up the ground below in a spectacular way!

You can see the house lights in the distance and the herd of deer!

I hope you are all doing well. I am sorry I have not been very active lately, but I am still here. Sending you all love and shining my heartlight to yours!

Shine On!

Gratitude

There is a calmness

to a life lived in gratitude

– a quiet joy.

~Ralph H. Blum

Gratitude for what is, what was and what may be.  This is how I live my life.  I am grateful for all the experiences, even those which have been sad, devastating and hard, as well as those experiences where I have searched and found the ‘good’ in what initially I viewed with suffering in my heart.  We have all heard, ‘time heals all wounds.’  But is that really true?  I am undecided, but yet, I feel that there is a choice in how we view the wounds as time goes by.  We can choose to have the wounds define us or empower us.  We are free to choose and it is in our choice, we continue to find peace and calmness in our lives.

So today on Thanksgiving, may we look upon the day with gratitude, love, calmness and joy.  View our world with peace in our hearts and allow healing love to surround us.

As always, I am grateful to be here with  you, to connect with you and to find the joy in the moment with you.  Let’s share gratitude for The Presents of Presence together!

Shine On!

Hope in the New Year

hope

The sun rose on a new year, and my heart was filled with such hope.

Welcome 2015!  I lay to rest 2014 with a heavy heart.  I awaken with enthusiasm for the beauty, hope and love that a new year and a new chapter bring to my heart.

I do not believe in resolutions for they are too restrictive to me.  Instead, last year I chose a power word which coincidentally was LOVE ~ and I learned much about LOVE last year.  I have thought much about what my theme would be this year, trying out all new words in order to choose what I feel is right for my new life.

TAPESTRY:  To weave through my radiant days with loving joy the following attributes

Love

Empowerment

Health

Wealth

Happiness

Service

Hope

Kindness

Compassion

Gratitude

Faith

*Not necessarily in this order…

May 2015 be your year of wishes fulfilled with plenty of love, laughter, gratitude, health, wealth, hope and happiness.

Shine On!

Pink Post ~ Can Worry Change the Outcome?

b2da76556d05ba59a030659203e56b84

Worrying will never change the outcome

If you’ve been diagnosed with breast cancer or an illness or have ever waited for an answer that was important to you, then you’ve probably experienced worry in your life.  Be it waiting for test results due to your health or in school or at work ~ be it a job application, your driver’s test, a pregnancy test, a pathology result or anything else, many times worry is our comfortable go-to emotion.

Not that I’m saying that to worry is comfortable.  No way Jose!  Worrying is uncomfortable, but for many of us, it’s the routine emotion that we turn to when we are waiting for the results of something important to us.

Perhaps you are one who worries and thinks about all the possibilities for the outcome of the test.  You can imagine the good, the bad and the ugly result.  You can even go so far as to give yourself the worst result and then plan on how you will deal with that answer, plan how your life will change and how you will live with that change in your life.

Or do you worry, then imagine how relieved you will feel when the result is what you were praying for so that you are healthy?

Or are you the one who just can’t get past the what if’s and can’t even go to to the next step of imagining how life would go on if the result were bad?  Your mind continues to run round and round, thoughts whirring and repeating in your head until you can’t even think straight?

Or do you acknowledge that you are worried about the outcome, but then hands the control over to God/Universe/Life and goes on about the day knowing that no amount of worry gives us any more control over the situation than non-worrying?   Practicing telling the family the dreaded results or the happy ones still doesn’t change the situation at all for the moment.  Without knowing the result, this is all just busy mind conjecture and doesn’t do anything, but drive us into a frenzy at warp speed.

Do you relate with any of the above situations?  Are you a worrier?  Do you know someone who is?

Well, join the club my friends for I’m a worrier too.

I grew up surrounded by worriers.  ‘What if’s’ ruled the roost, cocka-doodle-dooing from morning to dusk growing up.  In fact, it became so ingrained in me that my first instinct if I’m not careful in my thinking goes right back to the ‘what if’s’ and to the worst outcome and how I will live with that result in my life.

I remember my father used to tell me that I needed to check my breasts to make sure that I didn’t get breast cancer.  His own mother had died from it when he was studying for his last exam during his senior year in college.  I don’t remember if he annoyed my sister with those same worries, but I clearly remember feeling pestered by him.  It almost felt constant although it surely wasn’t.  However, it was his constant worry that made me flippantly tell him that if I did get breast cancer, I would simply get my breasts taken off and get new ones.  I’d be the perkiest 80 year old on the beach due to non-saggy implants if that happened.  And off I’d go, on my merry way, feeling smug in having told him and gotten him off of my back, stunned into silence by my bravado.  And more than 14 years later ~ his worry came true and so did my flip answer to him.

Now I’m not blaming his perseveration of worrying about me getting breast cancer is what gave it to me, but I am saying that we need to watch our words and what we choose to put our attention to in this life.  My smug retort came true ~ I did end up with breast cancer and with a double mastectomy.   In fact, I have endured 3 separate reconstructions of those perky boobies.  So I ask you, what are the odds that his worry, my response and what happened are all related?

But back to worry ~ it’s easy for me to tell you not to worry ~ and believe me, I’ve counseled many people (not to mention myself!) to not worry about what may happen ~ I’ve even gone so far as to tell them that worrying is like rocking in a rocking chair and expecting to get somewhere ~ you can rock and rock all day long, but you’ll still stay in the same place.

I’ve offered to help people pack up their worries and give them to God/Universe or even to hand them over to me for awhile, knowing that I’d keep the bundle safe for them and that they could have it back whenever they chose (of course, I was going to drop that bundle into God/Universe’s lap as soon as I got my hands on it!)  No way was I burdening myself with their worries!

It’s amazing how people react when I tell them that I’ll take their worries.  They don’t want to give them up ~ they think because they have their pile of worries, they are in control of the situation.  It makes us somehow feel more in control when we hold our own worries, we’re greedy misers who don’t want to Let Go and Let God.  We believe that we hold the key with our worries.  Sometimes, we don’t even realize how stressed and how tightly we are holding on to the ‘what if’s’ and the anxiety which uncertainty brings to our lives.  We just know that if we can be left alone to worry, to agonize and to perseverate on the matter, we can somehow make it come out as we want.  We believe that we have control.

Well, my darlings, guess what I’ve learned?  We don’t have control over everything.

There, I’ve said it.  Whew ~ do you believe me?  Do you think you have special control powers?  Do you believe that you are different?  Because I did too for a long time.  Now I’ve just learned that I need to go with the flow, do my best, be as healthy as I can and just keep on living, loving and breathing.

Sorry for the long post and I apologize to whomever I copied the above image from on Pinterest.  It was so perfect that I just had to use it.

Thanks for reading today ~ I would love to hear how you feel about worry.

If you are a worrier, how are you dealing with worry in your life?

Shine On!

Hope in the Year of the Dragon

in all things it is better to hope than to despair. —johann wolfgang von goethe

We’ve all had troubles ~ some bigger than others ~ and how we deal with them in the long run ~ makes it a long run.  Know what I mean?  That’s why when I saw this card, I thought it was a good one!  I recently was talking with a new friend I met through blogging who told me that this is the Year of the Dragon.

In researching the Year of the Dragon, I found the following:

Year of the Dragon Overview

Chinese New Year: Year of the Water Dragon

“In a Dragon year, everything is magnified tenfold. And after the rather meat-and-potatoes Metal Rabbit year we just lived through in 2011, we are in for the ride of our lives. Commotion, turmoil and general hullabaloo will characterize the Dragon year ahead. As of January 23, 2012, better get ready to rock and roll — or else crawl under a rock until it’s over.

Think of the Water Dragon year as a 12-month-long, bumpy road with interludes of elaborate and joyful festivity. Fortunes will be made and lost with lightning speed. All events will be charged with a rare intensity. In short, 2012 will be a year of derring-do, hell-raising and exorbitant fun.

Dragon years are favorable for the enterprising and ambitious. If you want to succeed at something major, start early in the Dragon year. Don’t give up. Express yourself openly. Show no fear. In China, it is said that the Dragon year brings luck to those who dare to speak out, to take charge and even to take over.

Dragons are fearless and direct to a fault — but they are not without ruse. They’re clever go-getters who are always in the running for first place. They want to excel at every endeavor. Dragon years, therefore, are propitious for people who have the courage to take risks, to stand fast in the face of danger and hold firmly to their principles. For those among us who are timid and shy, who shrink in the face of challenge and who daren’t speak up for what it is they want, Dragon years can be rigorous and even a little bit frightening at times.

If you are a Fearful Freddy, you won’t need tranquilizers. The Water Dragon won’t charge into your kitchen and grab you by the throat. But the months ahead will be tumultuous, stormy and chock-full of rebellion. Dragons may be despotic, but they’re also benevolent and sentimental. In this coming Dragon year, anyone who’s hurting is going to hoot and holler until they get their fair share.”

Your astrology in the Dragon Year  exclaimed:  “Welcome to 2012, the year of empowerment! Fasten your seat belt because the days ahead are all about accelerated risk-taking and breaking through outmoded paradigms. To thine own self be true — no exceptions! Can you handle it? Of course you can! Just follow the guidance for your Sun sign below and discover how to make the most of all the amazing opportunities ahead. It’s all in the timing, baby!”  See link for more info from this source!

I don’t know about you, but after reading about this Year of the Dragon, I’ve got my lifeline of hope all set!  I’m ready to rumble (storms-a-brewin)  and I’m thinking of going for it!  Heck, after the grasshopper-help experience, I think forward is the only way to leap!

What about you?

Ready to Dragon wrestle with me?
