Soup, Snow And A Saturday

SoupSnowandaSaturday

I have the biggest smile on my face because it’s snowing outside.  Add that it’s Saturday and my sons are home with me makes my smile grow!  I already put a chicken on to make homemade chicken soup so we’re all set!  What a glorious day it will be for us!

It’s the perfect ending to winter break for our family because next week begins school again.  So in the meantime, I’m loving this day.  Wouldn’t you?

I could sit and watch the snow fall for hours.  I love the smell in the air when it snows.  Have you ever noticed it?  I love that after a snowfall I can go in my backyard and see the tracks from all the wildlife – deer, groundhog, birds and of course, my rabbits – and how they’ve been out and about in the snow.  How grateful and blessed I’m feeling today!  Can you tell?

I hope you have a lovely day filled with all the comforts of home and healing because that’s the plan here today.  Hold your loved ones close and enjoy the Presents of Presence!

Shine On!

Shooting Star Sighting And A Spiritual Present

shootingstarsighting

Last night, I quietly sat outside on my front porch, gazing at the now barren corn fields across the street.  There are trees beyond the fields, but mostly from my vantage point, it’s clear sky and Mother Earth.

Suddenly from behind my house and through the trees to my left, I saw a HUGE WHITE STAR arc across the sky and begin to fall.  At first, I thought it might have been a plane as the vision was that big!  You know how it looks when you see a plane coming in for a landing, right?  There’s a small airport beyond the trees across the street at the farm where occasionally I glimpse planes landing and taking off beyond the trees.  But this wasn’t a plane!

It was silent as it arced and then fell.  Not like a small shooting star as I’ve seen and written about here.  Instead, it was bright white and big and as it got closer to the ground in front of the trees (in the cornfield), it seemed to fizzle into nothingness.  I sat very still as I watched it and as much as I wish I had taken my phone out to photograph it for it fell effortlessly and slowly, I wouldn’t risk missing a moment of the phenomenon.

I admit, I was awestruck.  Beautiful just doesn’t describe the vision, nor the most serene feeling that enveloped me as I watched it.  Suddenly a white puff about the size of my fist floated toward me on the non-existent breeze.  You know, like a big white fluffy feather, but in a ball shape.  It wafted past me and then behind my left shoulder.  I turned to look for it, but it was nowhere to be found in the darkness.  Again, that feeling of being cocooned in peace came over me.

I just knew I’d experienced a spiritual gift.

Has anything like this ever happened to you?

It was most extraordinary and lovely.  I feel very blessed to share this with you today.  If anyone has any intuitive thoughts, please share below.  I felt like it was a sweet visitation filled with angelic love.

I hope you have a beautiful Sunday.  May peace be yours with every breath.

Shine On!

Love Is… 1 Corinthians 13:1-8

love

“If I could speak all the languages of earth and of angels, but didn’t love others, I would only be a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal.  If I had the gift of prophecy, and if I understood all of God’s secret plans and possessed all knowledge, and if I had such faith that I could move mountains, but didn’t love others, I would be nothing.  If I gave everything I have to the poor and even sacrificed my body, I could boast about it; but if I didn’t love others, I would have gained nothing.

“Love is patient and kind.  Love is not jealous or boastful or proud or rude.  It does not demand its own way.  It is not irritable, and it keeps no record of being wronged.  It does not rejoice about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out.  Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance.

“Prophecy and speaking in unknown languages and special knowledge will become useless.  But love will last forever!”

~ 1 Corinthians 13:1-8

I thought this was a lovely reminder on a blessed Sunday.  May love and healing light fill your hearts, minds, souls and bodies each and every day.  May you continue to shine your heartlights and be grateful for the love surrounding us all in each and every moment!

Shine On!

Three Christmas Wishes For You!

Peace Joy Love

Dearest Friends,

I am sending you peace, joy and love today (and always).

May your holiday season be filled with the meaning of Christmas.

Remember you are the hub of your own wheel of life.  Your deeds, your thoughts and your kindnesses are the spokes which support you and allow you to move forward in life.  Your heartlight shines so that on your life’s journey, you can see through any storms which may come your way.  At times, we meet other wheels, banding together for a time to roll along ~ connecting, supporting and enjoying this journey called life.  We are never far from others, only as far as we are from our true selves.

Your Divine Purpose here is to allow peace, joy and love to fill your being and to be a gentle reminder to others.  Surround your soul with God ‘s love and listen to the angelic reminders in your mind.  You are special.  You are loved.  Remember that always.

Merry Christmas!  Happy Holidays!  May you have a blessed holiday season!

Shine On!

The Power of the Word 3

I am so very unbelievably lucky, blessed, grateful, excited, proud…

to have someone as loving, selfless, funny, driven, amazing as you.

Happy Anniversary.

(This card goes out to all of you ~ although it’s NOT OUR Anniversary, this is how I feel about my readers!)

Your words are your affirmations and your thoughts are the keys to your success.   What are you saying?  What are you thinking?  Do you even realize all that goes on in your day?  Words uttered, muttered and thought are very powerful!  Change your words and watch your world change!

I will tell you that during my journey through breast cancer, I used affirmations among other things to help my body/mind fight BC (breast cancer).  One of my affirmations which I still use, especially now while I’m enduring some surgeries and bumps in the road of life is below.  If it resounds with you, then please feel free to use it!

“Divine Love floods my consciousness with health and every cell in my body is filled with light.”

I say this whenever I think of it…I’ll admit, when I’m very good, I can say it 100 times, and when I”m not, it’s only a few times a day.  But I figure that it gives God/Universe/Spirit/Me/Higher Self/Soul a chance to help me heal.  And I’m still here, so I figure it must be working! 🙂

Now let’s get on with Florence’s next chapter…watch your words and thoughts my friends!

Chapter 3 Excerpts ~ The Power of the Word

If a man wishes someone “bad luck,” he is sure to attract bad luck himself. If he wishes to aid someone to success, he is wishing and aiding himself to success.  The body may be renewed and transformed through the spoken word and clear vision, and disease be completely wiped out of the consciousness. The metaphysician knows that all disease has a mental correspondence, and in order to heal the body one must first “heal the soul.”

The soul is the subconscious mind, and it must be “saved” from wrong thinking.   It is safe to say that all sickness and unhappiness come from the violation of the law of love. A new commandment I give unto you, “Love one another,” and in the Game of Life, love or good-will takes every trick.

Good-will produces a great aura of protection about the one who sends it, and “No weapon that is formed against him shall prosper. “In other words, love and good-will destroy the enemies within one’s self, therefore, one has no enemies on the external!

“There is peace on earth for him who sends goodwill to man!”

Have you told your family how grateful you are for them?  Perhaps today’s the day?

Have a grateful Sunday!
