Wishing You Love And Joy

Wishing you and yours a very Merry Blessed Christmas filled with so much love and joy!

I pray you enjoy a day that reminds you of all of the blessings we have to be grateful for surrounded by loving memories of those who cannot be with us today. I am reminded in the still of the morning with my sweet children asleep in their beds that these are the small blessings, the amazing moments that are to be cherished.

So hold your loved ones closely. Life is precious. Be the love and joy you wish to feel in this world. As always, keep shining your heartlights! You are loved!!

Happy Winter Solstice 2020!

The shortest day of the year aligns with the longest night on December 21st 2020. The Winter Solstice this year (if you aren’t already aware) features the first visible “double planet” in 800 years which are Jupiter and Saturn. This conjunction is also being referred to as the “Christmas Star.”

What a lovely blessing for this year that has been fraught with turmoil, disappointment, fear and sadness. We are nearing the end of 2020 with many of us heavy-hearted, tired and worn out. But innately, also with hope, love and a yearning for peace. I find the Christmas Star to be a necessary and appreciated highlight right now. Don’t you?

Are you planning on taking a walk outside to see if you can view this extraordinary gift today? Due to our time zones, perhaps some of you will not be able to see it or perhaps you already have (by the time you read this)! Either way, I’d love to hear about your experience and see your photos if you take any!

My hugs are plentiful for all of you. May you find peace in The Presents of Presence and be thankful for the amazing gifts this world presents when we need them most. I hope you are all doing well. Keep shining your heartlights!

Rabbit Rabbit

Well friends, it’s that time of the month again! You know, the one when we say rabbit-rabbit-white-rabbit-white-rabbit/! Have you said it yet? I put two rabbits in the photo today. I just felt like we all needed a little extra this month considering we’re in the home stretch of 2020! For some I know this has been a really difficult year. I think we have all felt the stresses this year, but I pray that we will find this last month of the year one where we feel a healing. Certainly with the holidays approaching we can find peace within and some holiday spirit to lift us up.

I hope that you are taking good care of yourselves for I think of you often. I am not on my blog as much as I have been in past years, but I hope that 2021 allows me more time to spread positivity and to connect with all of you!

Keep shining your heartlights! We all need to shine in this darkness and spread love and light.

Shine On!

Nature’s Jewelry

My beautiful tree in the front yard is still holding onto her leaves. Bejeweled tones of ruby, amber and orange are so stunning in the sunlight that the above photo doesn’t do justice as to her loveliness.

I find a tranquility in communing with nature and this certainly is the perfect setting for it here out in the country. While most of the trees here have let go of their leaves, this one hasn’t yet and what a present that is to me!

How about at your homestead? Are the leaves still hanging on or have they already dropped? I think it’s late for this one to be still full of leaves, but I’m not complaining! I love it!

I hope you’re having a lovely Sunday. Keep shining your heartlights and continue to be grateful for every precious day.

Count Your Blessings

In my life, I’ve found that when I count my blessings, I feel more present. There’s something about being in a place of gratitude with a peaceful heart that helps me to rise above the fray of life’s troubles.

So this morning I awoke to count my blessings since it is Thanksgiving. I lit a favorite pumpkin spice candle in the kitchen to allow the scent to waft through our home and bring a cheery presence.

As I sipped my coffee in the early quiet morning hours, a rush of gratitude enveloped me. I am grateful to be here today. I am grateful for my children, my family and friends. I am grateful for this precious moment of tranquility.

This is the first major holiday without my parents. If I allowed myself to wallow in the sadness, it would be a shame, so I shed a few tears that needed to escape. Then I sat quietly thinking of them. It only feels hard to deal with emotionally if I allow that to be in my thoughts. If I feel grateful for the love my deceased parents and I shared, then there’s a different perspective. For I don’t believe they are gone from my life, but instead, very present in a spiritual way. For that, I’m grateful.

So on this Thanksgiving, I extend my heartlight to yours with gratitude for our friendship. I pray you have a lovely day filled with an abundance of gratitude for the blessings in your life. Hold your loved ones close in heart. Be kind and compassionate. Shine your heartlights for all to see. May a chorus of counting our blessings be felt across the world.

Shine On!

Do You Often See 11:11?

Often when I pick up my phone, the time on it shows 11:11, so what better way to celebrate today’s date which coincidentally is 11/11! For today’s date is special, especially with the added year being 2020. Did you take notice of it? Do you know anything about it?

Well, I started a little research because the synchronicity of these numbers fascinate me. Below are a few articles that you may find interesting as this is a time when a fresh start and a portal to deep transformation of humanity is here.

Beyond numerology, planetary alignments and the angelic significance of the numbers, I feel a change today. An opening of spirit and when I stood outside in nature, I felt that deep connection to love and light in our world.

As The Wind Blows

I’m a Jersey Girl, never far from the beach even if I don’t frequent it as much anymore. My happy place has always been by the sea for its power of calm, strength and beauty.

But the winds have kicked up today and the temperatures have dropped significantly. I was recently gifted a wind chime and I can hear its melodious tune, never ending in this wind. It’s a sweet reminder on the day after All Souls Day to honor those loved ones who have passed away.

I feel as if these winds are blowing away the remnants of whatever each of us still clings to that is not for us anymore. Releasing feels key here, especially with the helpful winds. Letting go and finding peace within, centered and calming will certainly help us in the coming days for there seems to be a building of emotional uncertainty that may affect those of us who prefer peace.

I wish you all peace. I wish kindness, caring and patience to surround you. I am grateful to see your heart lights still shining. That in itself keeps mine shining as well.

Living Beyond the Pink Curtain Of Breast Cancer

Beyond the Pink Curtain Photo Credit:  JZAngel

What I’ve learned from being a woman diagnosed with breast cancer at age 34 would fill a book.  In fact, on many occasions I’ve attempted to write that book, but I never quite finish it.  Perhaps because it’s never really over once you’re diagnosed with an illness.  It lingers, it teaches, it reminds us with occasional bouts of unease.  I don’t call myself a survivor ~ I think I’m more of an endurer.

Life is a journey of endurance ~ we take baby steps, sometimes forward and backward which I’d like to refer to as doing the cha cha instead of anything else.  Because this is earth school and it can’t all be hard.  There has to be some fun in it, even when it is hard.  For me, the idea of dancing lends itself to freedom, to soothing music, to partnering with helpful friends and family along the way and finally movement – forward and backward so that we never stay stagnant.  Because we learn.  We grow.  We experience situations and relationships.  We process those feeling associated with them.  We uncover truths about ourselves.

We find that we are stronger than we ever knew we could be.  Cancer gives us the opportunity to tap into the strength and courage that is innately ours and find our divine selves.

Cancer causes us to question our life’s purpose.  It can be seen as a time out, and perhaps even a reset to help us to align with what’s important.  It is a coming together of people in supportive roles to help us through the journey.  It is a wake-up call for sure if one chooses to wake up to our inner source of love and soul.

My cancer journey has had many twists and turns over the years.  It has not been an easy path, but there is much to be grateful for in my case.  I have gained so much from the experience and have been able to help many others along the way because of my experience.  While I don’t recommend getting cancer to experience the inner richness of this life school, I am grateful that I am still here to share and to help others along the way in this capacity.

It is the end of Breast Cancer Awareness Month so that’s why I’m posting this as I am here for you.  I have been where you are.  I have endured the chemo, the loss of hair, multiple surgeries, radiation, fearful sleepless nights and the fallout from the diagnosis and continued battle.

But I am still here to experience The Presents of Presence in this lifetime and for that, I am forever grateful.

Where Will September Lead You?

The chill in the morning air has me excited as my favorite season emerges – Fall! There is something so exhilarating about the Autumn season for me that I feel invigorated with a fresh chapter on the horizon! Do you feel the same way?

The leaves are beginning to turn their jeweled tones of ruby, garnet and gold before they fall to the forest floor. The fresh start of a new school year (even though I know it’s an altogether different stressful year) still beckons me with an effervescence of a new beginning and all that it signifies.

I realize that we have many difficulties in real life with climate changes, earthquakes, political unrest, fear, the virus and all that we are experiencing. I have yet to meet anyone in 2020 who has not had struggles and I am not so naive as to believe that I can close my eyes and magically make it all better for us all. But what I can see clearly is the importance of grounding ourselves in nature by knowing who we are innately and staying centered in our thinking, our behaviors and our relationships. To be like the ‘little weed in the desert – wind blows one way, it goes that way and vice versa’ is not helpful. But nor is being so staunch in our beliefs that we are not open to listening to others.

Because listening is a key factor these days. Listening with an open heart as those around us are heavily weighted down with stressors helps. Sharing with trusted souls and connecting with heartlights are ways to bring healing energetic light to our world for we are all in this together. It is not an easy time for any of us at this juncture, but I always believe that Fall is for new beginnings so I am open to where September leads me. Are you?

What’s Your Piece Of Good News?

“Everyone has inside of him a piece of good news. The good news is that you don’t know how great you can be! How much you can love! What you can accomplish! And what your potential is!” — Anne Frank

“Everyone has inside of him a piece of good news.

The good news is that

you don’t know how great

you can be!

How much you can love!

What you can accomplish!

And what your potential is!”

~Anne Frank

I saw this quote today and felt like I had to share it with you!  How incredibly inspiring Anne Frank was even under her dire circumstances!  I recall reading her diary when I was in school and it reminded me of how strong we can be when we have no other choice!

So since it’s Monday and the start of a new week (and the start of school for some students), I thought I’d send a little bit of inspiration to you!

Happy Monday My Friends!
