Rabbit Rabbit February 2023

Happy Blessed February and rabbit-rabbit-white-rabbit-white-rabbit/ to all of you! I have our sweet 8 year old kitty Tigger curled up in my lap so it’s a little difficult to type. She’s taken to establishing herself on my lap every morning and affectionately not allowing me to do what I need to do on the computer. She likes it when I kiss the top of her head (like her forehead). Maybe she likes that Third Eye love connection! Either way, it’s lovely to feel as if she wants to be with me and I welcome her open-heartedly. It’s also the time that there’s no pup running around the house because he sleeps in, so she has me all to herself and the house is quiet, so it’s just the two of us.

As for the pup, he’s now over a year old and he’s a big love. He’s a lap dog even at 70 lbs! Buster has changed our lives in so many ways. Who could have predicted that the little ball of white fur could become such a big part of our lives?! I love that my sons have pets as they have taught us all so much! Even though we’ve lost two cats along the way due to old age, Chessie and Tiffy, their loyalty and love lives on in our memories.

I love that February is here as it’s a short month and the theme is LOVE! Just reading/saying the word LOVE makes me smile. Does it do the same for you? I hope so because we all need love. I think it’s just as important as air, water and food as well as connections. Love is not just the saying of ‘I do’ anymore. It’s a universal code of respect, kindness, caring and generosity of spirit. It’s being human with an open heart. Lucky for me, mine’s still beating even though I’ve had some issues with it. So far, though, so good! I can’t believe in June it will be a year since I had open heart surgery. Thank goodness times flies as this part of my life has been a tough ride. But, I’m grateful for all of it!

I hope that this month brings you all the love you can hold (and more!). May you enjoy a February filled with all the goodness that 2023 brings…thanks for stopping by and reading. I hope all is well with all of you! Keep shining your heartlights!

September Rabbit Rabbit

You know what happens on the first of the month if you’ve been following me for any stretch of time – we say Rabbit Rabbit, White Rabbit, White Rabbit – for luck for the month ahead! I found this sweet photo on Canva and wanted to use it because I was imagining that’s me (as a white rabbit) giving you a kiss! Mwah!

I adore September and the beginning of the school year, even though my teaching days are long over. There’s something magical about the fresh start and it clicks in place within me every September. It’s even better than New Year’s Eve for a new beginning for me because it’s gradual. Forget about January and making resolutions! I’m more into hopefully opening new pathways in September!

Just in case you might have thought I’d forgotten you or my blog – no, I haven’t. I’ve just been recuperating from the open heart surgery I endured and trying to heal from it. It’s not been what I had thought it would be – a smooth uphill battle. Instead it’s been a roller coaster, full of twists and downs and ups and sideways motions, none of which I could have predicted.

But I’m still here – being more in the present than ever because I haven’t a choice – and making the most of it!

April First – Rabbit Rabbit and Rainbow

I couldn’t stay away today being that it’s April 1st and you know what we do on the first of the month!

Rabbit Rabbit, White Rabbit, White Rabbit!

Then to add to the fun of the New Moon in Aries, when I went outside this morning, this beautiful huge rainbow was streaming across the sky in front of me. Immediately, my grin widened and as I sat there just enjoying the absolute beauty of it, I finally remembered to take a photo. This one doesn’t really do it justice though since it was taken with my phone. Just image the colors brighter, clearer and the rainbow being HUMONGOUS! Then you’ll see it the way I did!

However, I thought I’d share my rainbow with you, in case you needed a little bit of extra hope, love, luck, and some more light for your heartlight because I know life can sometimes be difficult for even the strongest of us all. WIth the new month beginning, we must make time to be present in the moment, to look up at the sky and see if by chance, there’s a rainbow quietly waiting for us to marvel at its magnificence.

A reminder from the Universe and God that miracles happen, quietly without fanfare, if we take the time to look. Keep shining your heartlights. Our world needs more light everyday.

Rabbit Rabbit

Well friends, it’s that time of the month again! You know, the one when we say rabbit-rabbit-white-rabbit-white-rabbit/! Have you said it yet? I put two rabbits in the photo today. I just felt like we all needed a little extra this month considering we’re in the home stretch of 2020! For some I know this has been a really difficult year. I think we have all felt the stresses this year, but I pray that we will find this last month of the year one where we feel a healing. Certainly with the holidays approaching we can find peace within and some holiday spirit to lift us up.

I hope that you are taking good care of yourselves for I think of you often. I am not on my blog as much as I have been in past years, but I hope that 2021 allows me more time to spread positivity and to connect with all of you!

Keep shining your heartlights! We all need to shine in this darkness and spread love and light.

Shine On!

Rabbit Rabbit November 1st

Rabbit-rabbit-white-rabbit-white-rabbit!

Good morning dear friends! For those of you who know me, you know the first of the month is the signal for saying those special words in order to ensure good luck all month long! Have you said it yet?

It’s also All Saints Day on the Catholic calendar which coincides with the birthday of a dearly departed family member. It’s been many years since he passed away, but I feel his presence in my life often. As I said in yesterday’s post, I do believe in signs from the other side and have experienced many synchronicities and coincidences that are not able to be explained which reminds me that while loved ones may pass away, their essence, their presence, and their legacy remain in our hearts.

It is another reminder to me that we never know what the future brings and so I gently, but firmly, remind you to forgive, to love, to care and to shine your heartlights with much love into the world. We need more caring and kindness here and I know you are all blessed with an abundance of those very necessary traits! I am so grateful for all of you!

October’s Rabbit Rabbit

Happy October 1st, 2020! I was thinking of not posting my usual first of the month Rabbit-rabbit-white-rabbit-white-rabbit/ but then I started thinking that we may need all the luck we can get as we go into the Fall months with the virus, the political situation and all the unrest. So here we are!

The weather is turning cooler here making it feel like Fall has arrived, not only by the date, but by the weather indications. The brisk chill in the air is a lovely change as we begin a new month.

There are many people struggling these days with all different challenges. So may I remind you that I’m here for you and you are not alone. We walk through life’s journey together, aiding each other when needed, companionably without fear.

Keep shining your heartlights my friends!

Shine On!

September 1st Rabbit Rabbit

September 1st Rabbit Rabbit

Well dear friends, we’ve made it to September 2, 2020!  Pat yourselves on the back that we are still here.  I’m sorry my post is a day late, but better late than never, right?

Did you remember to repeat, “Rabbit Rabbit, White Rabbit, White Rabbit” yesterday?  If you didn’t, then quickly say it now!  I think we need all of the luck we can as we begin the Fall season with schools starting.  I know that my family and I do!

How are you doing there where you are?  Are you and your family doing well?  Are your children returning to school?  How’s your job situation?  I know these are very uncertain times so please stay safe.

As for my Clover (you may remember my yard bunny and her baby), I haven’t seen them in quite awhile.  Recently we’ve had fox sightings and I’m wondering if something has happened to them.  Sightings of the silver fox and red fox have been more frequent so I am hoping that Clover and her baby are just not around when I am outside.  While I enjoy new wildlife in my vicinity (and have seen a baby red fox as well), I’m saddened by not seeing my special bunny.

However, Fatty, Mrs. Fatty and Skipper the baby (the groundhog family) have been scarce too.  I did catch Fatty running through the backyard the other day, so that was good.  We have chipmunks here as well who are very daring and scoot past me closely.  They are all just so much fun to watch.

Let me know how your wildlife is doing please.  I love to keep up with your special animal friends, so I hope all is well with them.  Of course, as always, I hope all is well with you and yours.

Keep shining your heartlights.  Stay in touch with your loved ones.  These are strange times indeed.  Let’s pray for a peaceful September.  God Bless.

Shine On!

August 1st Rabbit Rabbit

The Presents of Presence-8

Happy August to all!   Continuing the tradition, please remember to welcome this month with Rabbit Rabbit, White Rabbit, White Rabbit!

I want to thank you for all of your love and kindness in response to my Mom’s passing.  We are still transitioning into the reality that our Mom is no longer here on Earth. However, I do know in my heart that her presence will stay with me as we were so connected and that is a bond of unconditional love that continues.  I am truly grateful for all of the blessings that have been bestowed on me by her love and the love that she had for everyone.

As the new month of August unfolds, I ask that you hold your loved ones close.  Speak with kindness and give from your generous hearts.  Receive the kindnesses that come to you with gratitude.  Pass along your smiles to all.  Spread love, patience and generosity of spirit.  Our world needs healing and healing begins with us.

I am sorry I have not been writing often, nor reading your posts.  Please know I have missed you all and hold you dearly in my heart.  God Bless.

Shine On!

June First – Rabbit Rabbit

June First

Rabbit Rabbit, White Rabbit, White Rabbit  came to mind this morning as it does at the beginning of each month.  What once began as a little family tradition and a monthly post here on The Presents of Presence has diminished over time.

There has been much turmoil lately in our world and I have been not posting as frequently for some time now.  I have missed you all very much, but other aspects of my life have prioritized themselves and blogging as you know, has taken a back seat on my to do list.

The dense dark vibrations of this world continue, but the choosing to be of the light, to shine our heartlights as we are meant to, in the most peaceful way possible emerges and blossoms in this month ahead.  What is not of love will dim and what is of love will grow as we connect with our inner heartlights and radiate kindness, compassion, and understanding with peace in our hearts.

We shine the light on truth and goodness.  We hold sacred the loving space in our hearts, minds and souls.  We join together with those who resonate similarly with gratitude for the blessings of awareness available to all of us.  May truth prevail.  May love surround you.  May mercy and forgiveness be yours.  May peace reign.

Rabbit Rabbit May 1st

Rabbit Rabbit may 1

Rabbit Rabbit! Happy May First Everyone!

This photo made me laugh since we’re in the midst of this quarantine and at some point, each of us has wanted to just get out of the house!  So, this May First I’m sending out healing that when we ease back into less restricted times, we will appreciate the little gifts of living and of course, The Presents of Presence.

Appreciate hugging family and friends when you see them.  Appreciate being able to take a drive in your car without threat of the virus.  Appreciate your health and freedom.  Appreciate all the little things that we may have taken for granted.

As a family, we have been blessed and I pray that you have as well.  So far, none of us have contracted the disease to our knowledge and we are hunkered down safe and sound in our home together.  We have bonded under the circumstances and been grateful for all of the blessings.

I pray that you and your family are healthy, happy and safe as well.  Please keep shining your heartlights and know that you are all in my prayers.

Shine On!
