So last night I was out on the front porch looking at the new moon over the fields. While the camera on my phone isn’t the best, it was a spectacular sliver of moon as you can imagine below. You could see the full outline of the moon with only the bottom sliver illuminated. How I wish I had a better phone camera to capture the beauty I witness from Mother Nature, but this will have to suffice. Hopefully you can go out tonight and see it for yourself!
As I was admiring the moon, something swiftly ran past me. Bounding behind it came another swish of movement to my utter surprise. As it was very dark, I wasn’t able to really see what they were until my eyes adjusted.
There, on either side of the tree were two bunnies who chased each other around my front lawn while I watched them. Can you see their eyes shining? They came close while playing tag and one stopped to look at me for a few moments which just made my heart sing. Because I’ve not seen my bunnies for a few years, it felt even more special. These two were in boundless energy mode and played for 30 minutes near me to my utter joy.
When I looked up the symbolism of seeing two rabbits, I found: “There are times when two rabbits cross your way to remind you that we have the ability to find strength within ourselves, even if it is hidden from view.”
So tonight, I’ll be out there again hoping to watch another game of tag from these two. One is smaller so at the moment, if it were daylight, I could probably tell them apart. Now, I just have to name them. Do you have any suggestions?
I hope you have a lovely Sunday full of love and heartlights shining!
Shine On!

Flopsy and Mopsy? Cute little bunnies. Have a good rest of the weekend Yvonne.
Oh love these names too Gail! 🙂 I just have to find Cottontail now! 🙂 I hope you have a great weekend too Gail!
Lovely message Yvonne 💖
Thank you Val 💕
Hey Yvonne, that is fantastic, it has been a while hasn’t it. And to share their night fun I can feel your smile from here. They are indeed showing you your strength kind lady 😂 🤣 ❤️ 🙏🏽 🦋
Ooh, I forgot…maybe call them March (as in March hare (male)), and April, a nice feminine name. As I would think their ‘play’ was Spring in the air, they were sharing their love in the moonlight with you 🤣 ❤️ 🙏🏽 🦋
Love the way you think Mark! Perfect choices – thanks for sharing! ❤️🦋😊🙏
Thank you Mark! I agree – showing me strength! Hope all is well with you! 🦋🤗❤️🙏
Going well dear lady, but no bunnies. A couple of dolphins every now and then though. Maybe I could get some children’s water wings for some bunnies so they can come play here 😂 🤣 ❤️ 🙏🏽 🦋
