“It’s not who we are that holds us back,
it’s who we think we are not.” ~ Michael Nolan
Let this quote settle in your mind for a bit. Let it linger in your soul. I remember hearing a quote that said something to the effect that even prisoners have the freedom to think and that nobody can hold the key to the prison in your mind except you. What do you think of that? Can you acknowledge that you are the prison guard of your own mind? What if you were to break free from the prison which holds you? What if you let go of all that holds you back and allow freedom to reign in your mind? Can you imagine all you would accomplish? Can you see how you would shine so brightly?
You can do it. You now hold the key. Turn the lock. Break out. I believe in you.
Shine On!

I’ll have to share my art journal page from yesterday on my blog tomorrow Yvonne — it is based on the realization that when I let go of believing what I tell myself I can’t do, there are no limits to possibility… 🙂
Oh yes, you are quite right Louise! I am excited to read your post tomorrow! Please link to mine so that everyone else can see your art! xo
Every single time I hold something in my heart and on my mind, it never fails, I find something on wp that speaks to it. That’s the effect of your post this morning! Huge smiles and hugs. May I have permission to re-blog this?
Oh, Belinda I am honored and of course, you may always use whatever speaks to you my dear friend. I am sending heartfelt healing hugs to you as always. ♥♥♥
Thanks so much! I just re-blogged it. I send those same hugs to you, keeping the cycle going.

So true! Merci Yvonne – My dearest friend Lorrie is SO happy to have met you, you can’t imagine… I’ve told her in my opinion you’re like two twin sisters 🙂 it’s a little word… of huge Love!!! I’m very happy you’re connected and close both geographically and spiritually 🙂
Me too dear Frederic! It is truly a small world when we navigate it with love in our hearts and shine our loving essences like beacons in the night. That’s what you and Lorrie do! ♥
Yes!! Dear Fre’de’ric is correct – we are twins!! And I am so happy to read your post of today!!! 😉 I know this will speak to many, many people here!! Much love to you for a most spectacular Sunday!! ❤
xoxo You inspire me! xoxo

My heartfelt gratitude for the reblog Belinda…xoxo
Yvonne, this is SO true. I just told someone yesterday, you never know until you try what you can do. I was shooting flowers in 35 mph wind gusts, and IF I had turned down the opportunity I would not have got gorgeous flowers as I did. I actually told the winds to calm down, and when I began shooting, I got so involved in what I was doing, I totally forgot about it being so windy. GRIN!!! So there you go! (((HUGS))) Amy and have a wonderful Sunday!
Amy, we can do anything we set our minds to do! I love that the winds calmed and essentially went away from your awareness so that you could shoot such awesome photos! Good for you! Harness the wind and fly! ♥
@”we can do anything we set our minds to do!” – yesss, I totally agree with you: it’s a question of choices, deicisions and determination… 🙂
Thank you, Yvonne. I again shall do that very thing this afternoon. Now it is the sun I contend with. I bring an umbrella with me for shade just in case I need it. “Our Minds are much more powerful then we know.” Love, Amy
Great post and so very true, I agree that when we set our minds to do something, anything is possible ♥
I’m possible…that’s what Audrey Hepburn says about the word ‘impossible’ xo
♥ xo
excellent post… ❤ free your mind and dare be(ing) yourself! 🙂

Melanie, thank you for visiting here and for sharing your post! It is lovely, just like you! ♥
Yes, yes. Yvonne, your post reminds me of a similar quote:
“We pay a heavy price for our fear of failure. It is a powerful obstacle to growth. It assures the progressive narrowing of the personality and prevents exploration and experimentation. There is no learning without some difficulty and fumbling. If you want to keep on learning, you must keep on risking failure — all your life. It’s as simple as that.”
~ John W. Gardner, Self-Renewal
Oh David ~ I love this quote that you shared! Thank you! ♥

I so believe this!!! Thank you!!
Thank you dear Bobbi! xo
