Daily Prompt: This Is Your Life
http://dailypost.wordpress.com/2013/01/11/daily-prompt-your-life/
If you could read a book containing all that has happened
and will ever happen in your life, would you?
If you choose to read it, you must read it cover to cover.
I thought perhaps I’d try one of the daily prompts today. I started following them awhile back but I never acted upon them. However, today’s piqued my interest enough to follow through so here I am!
If I could read a book about my life, I most certainly would read it cover to cover. Through my love of reading all types of books, but especially autobiographies, this would be my genre and therefore a resounding YES as the answer to today’s question. I love to learn about others and listen to their stories about their lives so I would definitely read my own. I think it would be fun!
As for the card above, (it’s from SendOutCards ~ click here for more info). I imagine that this would be the cover of my book about my life ~ and the title of it. What do you think? 🙂
I’d love to hear from you! So…please answer….
1. If you could read a book containing all that has happened and will ever happen in your life, would you? If you choose to read it, you must read it cover to cover.
2. Why or why not?
3. What do you imagine it would be titled?
Thanks for sharing!
TGIF!

Yes I would. The title would be “Finding Meaning”.

it’s great that you love your life! Yeah to your book! Keep writing it with zest!
What would your book be called and would you want to read your book if you could?
Right, but I’m not learning enough about YOU! This doesn’t scratch the surface, I’m sure of it!
Ah, but the question is my friend, would you read your book and what would it be called?
Yes, I’d read my book and it’d be called, “the princess of used-to-do — and things she wanted to do but didn’t” Now I’m going to stroke my new purchase and forget I ever said that!
Princess Rosebud’s Diaries? 🙂
I like that!
Hmmm…Although part of me would be curious – if what happens in the future is inevitable – then my answer is a definite No.
The title: Rosy’s life – Not always so Rosy
Thanks for sharing…none of our lives are totally rosy, but you are special! Hugs to you!
Awww…Thanks xoxo
Interesting question, I am not sure. It would be sort of boring, I am just an average American trying to make ends meet. I guess my title would be “the American Woman”. 😉 The title would be more mysterious than my life! 😀
Boring is good my friend…it means there are no terrible ups and downs ~ but plenty of good times! I like the title!
I never thought of it that way.. 🙂
Ooooooooooooooooooooooooooh! Had you asked me this before July 18, 2011 my answer would be different than it is tonight. Then, I’d probably have said “no”. But….knowing NOW what I know….I think I’d have to have said “yes” so I’d know WAY IN ADVANCE about Cowden’s Syndrome and the brain tumors (Lhermitte-duclos Disease).
Hum……the name of the book? I want to say “hopeforheather” but that’s super generic….hah! I don’t know!
Oh but HopeforHeather is such a perfect title! Keep it ~ read it to the end ~ there is a lot of love, a lot of hope and a lot of beauty in that book! Hugs

Well….my story certainly would not be boring…there were many unexpected twists and turns along the way…but I do not want to know how the story ends…I want it to be a surprise….

And I think that’s great as well ~ I love hearing everyone’s opinion! I hope your story continues for many, many years to come! 🙂
