The Future is not ours to know…

The future is not ours to know,

and it may never be.

So let us live and give our best and give it lavishly!

I love this card because it’s great for a Friday ~ the start of the weekend where we give ourselves permission to relax, to enjoy, to let off steam and love our lives.  As refreshing as a crystal clear pool feels on a hot summer day, the weekend is lived lavishly…and we can give our best to all.  Now, fast forward to Monday and the magic fades…my challenge to you is that you keep that joie de vivre all week long!

You can, you know.  Just carve out 10 minutes minimum to just enjoy ~ think happy thoughts, think of something fun you can plan to do in the future ~ use your imagination to feel that sun on your face, and just ‘be’ for a bit ~ no guilt, just enjoy your life…take those few minutes to make someone else’s life happier ~ I don’t need to tell you that what you GIVE out lavishly comes back to you!  Just be your giving self…and give of yourself to someone else whether it be listening, smiling, patience, kindness or even a hug.  No expectations ~ just send out peace and happiness to yourself and all who come into your world.

I am hoping that the above will be good advice for you as well as for me.  I love my FB page The Presents of Presence because everyday it reminds me that we only have the GIFT OF TODAY!  If today was your last day, did you spend it happily?  Will someone look back on this day and remember you in a positive way?  It’s never too late to make someone’s day special…you can do it in so many different ways.

Here’s my PRESENT to you today…
